The Lisbon district has 24 “Freguesias” but only one “Câmara Municipal”, which is responsible for the development of the town hall. They provide a wide array of services to its citizens. These services are aimed at promoting the quality of life and development of a local area.
The Câmara Municipal provides various certificates, declarations, and official documents that citizens may need for legal, administrative, or personal purposes, such as:
Household Composition Certificate
Residence Declaration
Business Activity license and permits for various commercial activities, markets, and establishments (e.g., shops, restaurants, street vendors)
Property Record Certificate
Licences for construction, renovations, or other urban interventions. This includes information and approval for works on private property and occupancy of public spaces.
