⚠️ SCAMS TO BE CAREFUL OF?
- Fraudulent SMS messages are being sent in the name of Social Security.
Social Security NEVER sends links via SMS messages or asks for bank details (Credit Card). The IBAN is updated through Social Security Direct, after password authentication.
This message, accompanied by a link to a false page that misuses the image of Social Security Direct, indicates that the citizen has subsidies to receive from Social Security and asks to fill in bank credit card details.
If you receive a message identical to this one, you should NOT click on the link. This is a phishing action that may aim to obtain confidential information or extort money from the citizen, using the Social Security identity for this purpose.
If you have responded to the information requested in the SMS, you should immediately contact your Bank and explain what happened.
