WHAT IS IT?
Ajuda de mãe is a non profit association whose main goal is to support mothers and their families, promoting better maternal and family life. They provide support in various ways aiming to reintegrate women professionally, provide psychological help and contribute to the mother's self development.
WHO CAN APPLY?
The first step to join the association is calling their phoneline, SOS Grávida ( 213 827 850/ 808 201 139 ) and telling them your needs and questions regarding pregnancy, family life, maternal issues, etc.
Afterwards, they'll indicate you to the best program available to help you.
WHAT PROGRAMS DO THEY HAVE?
Their programs include:
- consultations with professionals to discuss doubts and needs over your pregnancy and your baby's health.
- psychological help/therapy sessions
- parental courses and formation
- education aid as school integration until the 12th grade
- professional reintegration within their services
